You have heard the saying that you are your own worst enemy…may I rephrase that and say you are your only enemy.
There is no enemy outside you. The enemy that has taken a form outside of you is you trying to play with yourself (not in that way).
But even that is still a child’s play cause I’ll go ahead and say that there is actually no enemy.
This illusion we fight is like a child playing with his toy.
Unfortunately for us, there is no difference between the one playing with the toys and the toys themselves. What this means is that there is nobody to save you except yourself.
While this person remains a child and plays with his toy, he does so much things like fasts, prays, binds, casts, goes to the mountain, runs to the valley while also getting sad, angry, happy, excited, moody, anxious, fearful, frightful, pained, lost, ignorant (based on the input from his five senses) etc … and does so many more things that feels so very real to the person. Yet all one is doing is fighting against the illusion of self.
The reason for all these ups and downs can be summarized as this: The person wants something he thinks he does not have. He tries to get it and then he reacts depending on the situation outside.
But somewhere along this path, the child grows up. When he does, he drops his toys and is ready for more important stuffs.
Stuffs like managing timelines, creating universes from the scratch, designing life forms, being a higher Self to lower-form creations, creating other toys for lower-form creations, playing with more expensive toys of the gods etc. But he has to be tested.
Biblically speaking, Paul says when I grow up, I drop childish things.
The illusion is strong. Very strong. So Paul addressed it in this manner: ‘Stand ye therefore…’. Stand.
There is no victory to get because you already have it. You don’t need to be anxious. Nothing is going anywhere. Nobody can cage you, or take away your freedom except you. Why do you decide to identify yourself with racist energy, strange pronouns, political parties etc…such that when a word you don’t approve of is said, your whole world collapses? How about the devil? Why do you try to defeat him/her/it? Don’t you know your reality is created based on what you focus on?
Whatever it is that you want, you already have. So STAND THEREFORE and stop playing with children’s toys.
Galatians 5:1 (KJV) Stand fast therefore in the LIBERTY wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
PS: You know I just realized I was talking to myself also…to some extent. We all grow everyday.
