…and it’s really easy to be really close friends. Friends are those ones who open up and are free with you. The more they are open to you, the closer and truer they are, vice versa. If you claim to be a close true friend of another and you act like you have something to prove to them or you are not too open, then you’re not been truthful.
…and it’s okay to not be truthful to others but to yourself, and with your partner? Trust me, you want that feeling of a complete life and the four forms of love have to be present in your relationship to feel that completeness: romantic love, family love, friendship love and agape love (God’s love).
All these was designed to be found in your partner. That’s the original design. If you are proud and defensive, you wouldn’t enjoy friendship love with your partner. OR you can find the friendship love elsewhere. Idk.
