First, I know most translations of the bible are corrupted. It’s why we should be careful in our approach. But there are some that just so amplifies the meaning of God’s words, it brings new light to you, and I am not promoting nor advertising the amplified version. I realised ever slowly that even the KJV Bible isn’t as accurate as advertised. I find myself more often going back to the Hebrew and Greek words and root words to find out exactly what God was trying to say.
Secondly, as a child, I did some dangerous fasting… that lasted days sometimes! Purpose of such fasting, you may ask. One reason would be: in preparation against any futuristic demonic attacks. Yes. As a child in Africa, I pre-fasted, fasted and post-fasted. God was this distant being who threw weapons (spiritual) to the earth once in a while to whomsoever maybe interested and you, for your own part, will take those weapons, thank God for them and focus on the powers of your grand fathers and principalities…
…meanwhile in heaven, God is looking in complete puzzle doing SMH, MTCHEEWWW, TOR, LOL, wondering (assuming this to be possible) how we could read the bible and come up with a complete list of different unrealistic meanings to His simple “whosoever shall believe will be saved” and “the just shall live by faith”. Like, don’t you know what saved or live by faith means? Did He save you in one area and just looked at the other areas in bondage and says, ‘you have to fight your way out of that, I’m sorry I can’t do anything about that. You have to do it yourself’, which brings me to my thirdly.
Thirdly, the Law of God demands, the Grace of God supplies. If you are under the Law, of course you have to do some religious stuffs: fast; pray for 3 hours everyday; ladies wear big skirts alone etc. But God knows how stressful all these religious stuffs are, hence, these verses. Sorry for writing a novel.
